If you know me, then you know I'm not really the sweatpants and sneakers type of person, but lately I've been trying. I'm honestly not fully there yet, but the rise of my friend's, TirsaMarie, brand, VXXXV Apparel, has helped a lot. I remember when she first started the brand back in 2017, and the first item I received was a black bandeau top, with the words "VXXXV Apparel" across the chest. I loved it because not only was it a simple top that I could wear with anything, but the quality was also good. It wasn't your normal bandeau top made of thin material, it was actually pretty thick and fit like a glove.
Not only was I Tirsa's go-to makeup artist, but I was also the makeup artist for her very first fashion show back in 2018 and then her events following. Watching her in action during these productions made me proud. I met Tirsa back in high school in 2011. She was a grade ahead of me and a year older than me. I gravitated towards her because not only was she a sweetheart, but she is also an Aquarius, so we automatically clicked. Plus, we had choir together.
Year after Year VXXXV Apparel (also known as VX Apparel), dropped quality casual streetwear from sweatpants and slides to bodysuits and socks. What I like most about the brand is that majority of their clothing is unisex. I tend to like the way men sweatpants fit me, so this was perfect. I'm pretty petite, so I usually go for smalls or extra smalls, but a small in the sweatsuits fit like a glove. Another thing I like about the brand is the quality. When I say that the material of the sweatsuit is thick, it is THICK. I wore them all winter and never needed tights underneath, and I was warm (even hot sometimes lol). What really gets me are the colors. The ranges are perfect from your basic black and grey to bright orange, lavender, and cream.

I can't wait to see what's next for TirsaMarie and VXXXV Apparel. I'm glad to have been a part of this journey.
