Spring and summer bring me so much joy. When I see the sun, I am automatically in a great mood. Although I am a winter baby and love my turtle necks and jackets, there is nothing like warm weather fashion. I love wearing less and the good feeling of the sun on my skin.
I get a lot of my inspiration from Pinterest. From nail designs to apartment decor, I live on that app. Whenever I have somewhere to go, I’m brainstorming my outfit for the occasion. Once that outfit idea finds me, I will rearrange my closet in hopes to find similar pieces and if all else fails, there is always online shopping, which I am never in the mood for.
Short story: I was invited to a day party and immediately started planning my outfit. Thanks to Pinterest, I was able to create a few outfits. I found these bomb heels on Revolve and immediately fell in love. The Kia heels were hot pink with satin, ruched elastic straps. The heel was only 4 inches and even though I’m more of a 6in type, I needed these. After buying the shoes, I put together the rest of the outfit in my head: mom or boyfriend jeans with a cute hot pink crop top to match the shoes.
Although the brunch never happened, I was able to finally wear the shoes this weekend in DC. I received so many compliments on them. Yes, they were comfortable but after walking in them for 7 plus hours, I began feeling the burning throbs. As the famous adage goes, "High heels are pleasure with pain.”- Christian Louboutin
