Favorite Beauty Products of September

So, I’ve been slacking on posting my monthly favorite beauty products despite constantly going to Sephora. This month, we’re starting fresh, AND we’re going to be consistent! Let's get into my favorite beauty products of September.

Haus of Labs Foundation

First up is the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation. I’ve been hearing a lot of positive reviews about this foundation, so I had to try it. I prefer a medium-coverage foundation that's buildable and provides a natural finish. I like for my skin to still look and feel like skin, even with a full face of makeup on, and this foundation is the perfect example. It’s very lightweight and lasts throughout the day, and my favorite thing about the product is that you only need a few pumps for maximum coverage. This foundation is a little on the pricier side, going for $49, but I think it’s worth it.

Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Balm

One of my favorite discoveries is the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder, even though I'm late to the party. Throughout the summer, I struggled to find products that could withstand the heat. While I mostly went for a no-foundation makeup look, this product definitely is the missing piece. This foundation is perfect for those hot summer days when you want a full face of makeup without feeling weighed down. I tested this foundation by wearing it for over eight hours, and it looked just as flawless as when I first applied it. The only thing I’m not used to about this product is that it does have a matte finish, and again, I’m more of a natural finish girl. A little of this product does go a long way, though! This product is retailed for $36.

Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil

Next on my list is the Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil Longwear Lip Liner in the shade Limitless Brown. Again, this is a product that has the girls in a chokehold, and I get it! I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect brown lip liner, and it’s been a hassle. The browns are either a mix of mauve or are too dark for my liking. This product is the perfect shade of brown, and it glides on so smoothly (almost too smooth). This product is retailed for $23 (yes, I know that’s expensive for a lip liner, but again, it’s worth it).

Sephora 12HR Retractable Eyeliner

Now, let's discuss a more affordable option to the previously mentioned lip pencil. I've been loving the Sephora Collection Waterproof 12HR Retractable Eyeliner in brown. I find retractable pencils more preferable than traditional lip pencils due to their smooth application on the lips. While this product is a cheaper alternative than the Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil Longwear Lip Liner, it may not match the exact color. This product is retailed at $14.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment

Years ago, I subscribed to the Sephora Play box, a monthly beauty service, and once received a set of 6 different Fresh lip scrubs. I adored each one, yet never made a purchase after that. If I'm not wearing lipgloss, then my lips remain bare, so when I spotted the Fresh Sugar Lip Balm Hydrating Treatment, I added it to my cart. This particular balm is sheer, light, and leaves my lips soft. It's perfect for me since I don't wear chapstick. This specific one is sheer and lightweight and leaves my lips feeling smooth. It’s also the perfect alternative for me since I don’t like wearing chapstick. This product is retailed at $26.
