Favorite Beauty Products of November

I promised to stay consistent with discussing my favorite beauty products of (insert month), and I've been doing good, so let’s get to it!

I've tried almost every setting powder out there, and none of them, and I mean none of them, has come close to Laura Mercier's Translucent Powder. I love how lightweight the product is and how it feels under my eyes. Other powders felt too thick, and because I already wear a full-coverage concealer, it felt like too much under my eyes. The powder provides the perfect amount of brightness under my eyes, and it has no scent, which I also love. I've been using the Ultra Blur Translucent Powder and I've been in love with my makeup ever since.

Last year, I received the Urban Decay Moondust palette as a gift from the brand. The palette had four of their most popular eyeshadows: Star Cowgirl, Space Cowboy, Wild Dipper Rides Again, and Cosmic Space Dust. These eyeshadows are the prettiest eyeshadows I've ever seen. They

create the perfect glow to the eyelids and almost give off a wet look once

applied. Since they don’t sell the actual palette, I purchased the individual Space Cowboy (a light champagne with gold sparkle) and Solstice (a red with green sparkle). If you're into shimmers, these are a must-have.

I haven't bought an eyeshadow palette in years, and I’ve been needing a new one. I didn’t really want vibrant colors or shimmers, more so nudes. I purchased the Makeup By Mario Master Mattes Eyeshadow Palette: The Original, and I’ve been in love since. This is my first purchase from this brand, so I was excited about that. The palette includes 12 universal matte shades that can create the perfect neutral/soft glam to dramatic glam. Every shade is highly pigmented and blends extremely well.

A few months ago, I was plotting to purchase the exact shade of lip gloss I saw my friend using: Anastasia Beverly Hills Universal Luminous Tinted Lip Gloss in Cotton Candy. It’s a baby lilac pink gloss and pairs perfectly with a brown lip liner. When I think of the perfect pink lip gloss, I think of this one. The gloss was sold out when she told me about it, but I randomly thought of the gloss while walking through the ABH section in Sephora. You can never have too many variations of a nude/pink lip gloss.

It takes a lot for me to want to buy new products and test them out. I always say that once I find something good, I stick with it. I’ve been seeing the girls rave about Ami Cole products, but wasn’t fully influenced to purchase anything (except their lip liners). I was recently gifted their Lip Oil Treatment Hydrating Lip Gloss in Bliss and the Light Catching Highlighter and was excited to try everything. Now, I haven’t been a highlighter girl in years, mainly because the blushes I use, provide a slight glow to my cheeks once applied. The Light. Catching Highlighter is a translucent balm that provides a glass-skin glow. It’s not really a shimmer like other highlighters, more like a gloss, which I love. I think it’ll be the perfect product for that “vacation-glow” makeup look or just perfect for a “summertime glow.” The Lip Treatment Oil is one of the products that’s been praised, so I was looking forward to testing it out. Bliss is a subtle light pink shade that I think is the perfect everyday nude lip. It’s not too nude and also not too pink, it’s the perfect match. It’s also very hydrating which I love.
