Let’s start something new in the middle of April: My Favorite Beauty Products of (insert month). Every month I’ll talk about 3-4 products beauty products (makeup, skincare, and haircare) that were my favorite for that month. Now, I’ll talk about products I’ve been using for years and some I recently bought and am in love with. I think this is a good way for me to be more consistent with my blog, while also talking about products that I love and that I think you should try.
Let’s get right into my favorite beauty products of April!
-Laura Mercier Real Flawless Weightless Perfecting Foundation
Now let me tell you that this is probably the most expensive foundation I’ve ever bought. I was a little skeptical at first because my all-time favorite foundation is Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Foundation, and I didn’t care to try something new, but I also wanted to try something new. I’m a medium-coverage foundation girl. I like for my foundation to give skin, but also be able to provide fuller coverage if needed. The Laura Mercier foundation is so lightweight that I barely feel like I’m wearing foundation AND a little goes a long way. What I love the most is the color match. I’m usually in between shades, but the shade Sienna matches me perfectly.
-Elf Camo Liquid Blush
I’ve been wanting to try liquid blushes for the longest, but I was stuck on creams for a while. I’ve been hearing about Elf’s liquid blushes and how pigmented they are, but I also could never find them in Target or any other drugstore. Then one day I was out in the county, in CVS, and their Elf section was overwhelming, but in a good way. They had every shade in each of the products, so I picked up the shade Coral Crush. This is probably the prettiest blush I’ve ever seen. It’s also as pigmented as everyone says they are, AND it was only $8.
-Tower 28 ShineOn Milky Lip Jelly
If you know me then you know I love nude lip gloss. I rarely wear other lip colors. I’ve heard a lot about Tower 28 lip balm and wanted to try that as well, but I also needed a new nude lip gloss. I got the shade Oat and the tint is the perfect color. It’s not too nude, but also not clear and it’s the perfect consistency: not too thick.
-Morphe Bake & Set Soft Focus Setting Powder
This product really lives up to its’ name. It provides such a pretty blur effect to my undereye and gives it a soft matte finish. It’s also a lightweight product that doesn’t leave a white cast (I also don’t bake too long so that could be why as well).
You can shop all of these products through my ShopMy link. I’ll be back in May to discuss my new favorites!
