Cult Gaia is a brand inspired by nature and women. Their "About" section explains the origin of their name: "Great brands are cult-like. Gaia is the goddess of Mother Earth and the daughter of chaos." Honestly, if I could describe myself as a fashion brand, it would most definitely be Cult Gaia. Every piece is like art, abstract art. Their designs are unique, yet elegant. The earth-tone colors of the pieces are what makes me love their products even more. I'm not going to lie, their pieces are pricey, but I think they're completely worth it, a great investment, 10/10! So let's get into a few of my Cult Gaia purchases!
I came across Cult Gaia back in March of 2021. I was scrolling on Pinterest looking for outfit inspo as always and fell in love with these shoes that were paired with this outfit. Pinterest has a feature where if you click on the object, it provides links to said object or links to similar objects. I clicked the linked and was prompted to "Cult Gaia." I immediately fell in love with the site. The site colors, the layout, the product pictures made me feel like I was on the most luxurious vacation ever... yes that's how a website made me feel. The name of the shoe is the "Soleil" heel: a nude lace up bamboo high heel and I knew at first glance that I needed them. There was an event coming up and I planned my whole outfit around that shoe. I ended up purchasing them (priced at $388) and was just so in love with how the entire outfit came out.
My second purchase from Cult Gaia happened a month later. I was shopping for my trip to Costa Rica and needed a bag that screamed "island." I kept seeing this one bamboo bag on Instagram and ended up finding the actual bag and not the replica (on Cult Gaia of course). The "Gaia's Ark" bag is a see-through bag made of brown and neutral bamboo with cut out handles (priced at $118). The bag just screams vacation to me.
My most recent purchase from the site was this abstract-looking pearl bag. I came across it while I was on the hunt for the bamboo bag but didn't buy it of course. This piece might be my favorite purchase from Cult Gaia. The "Eos Clutch" is such an aesthetically pleasing bag that I had to get it. The clutch has a marble design with beads surrounding the edges of the bag. The bag comes in 7 different colors, and I purchased it in pearl. The bag is priced at $328.
